WE OFFER YOU THESE GIFTS, O LORD

We offer you these gifts, O Lord
Humbly pleading for your mercy,
Mercy to bind our hearts to yours
To be with you for our Redemption.
We offer to you Father
These gifts of bread and wine
The true body and blood of your son.
Receive these gifts we bring to you.

2. We bow down on bended knee.
We pray you to receive our gifts,
No other offerings so great as these.
Receive our gifts we bring to you.

3. Satan demanded the highest price,
Who but your Son could pay for it?
With his body and blood did Christ
Purchase us from the hands of Satan.

4. We too like Melchisedek, Father,
Offer you gifts of bread and wine.
Father and the Son glory to you,
The same to the Holy Spirit.
